The general public is strongly advised not to disclose their National Identification Numbers (NINs) to any unscrupulous elements masquerading as agents of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The image below is an example of dubious tactics used online to get innocent victims to give up their details such as the NIN. This is a scam aimed enticing people with the false claim of application for monetary handouts from the Government to get people to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
